We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2025, at the age of 79, Barbara A. Vetter of Moorefield, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Barbara farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barbara is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Eugene Johnson and Gloria Anita Scaldini Johnson; and her sister Kathleen Melker. She is survived by: her husband Harry H. "Skeet" Vetter, III; and her siblings, Alan Ward (Linda) of Georgetown, TX, Michael Ward (Linda) of Tyler, TX, Rebecca Pearce (Carson) of Harker Heights, TX and Patricia Oborne (Fred) of Temple, TX.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel (107 Washington St, Moorefield, WV 26836). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Barbara's name, as she always believed in lending a helping hand to those in need.
