With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Kirby (Montgomery, West Virginia), who passed away on December 16, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Janice may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldie McGraw and Bryant Ratliff; her sisters, Glendeen Bailey and Connie March; and her son-in-law Douglas Shabdue.
She is survived by: her husband Robert W. Kirby, Jr.; her daughter Donna Kirby Shabdue; her granddaughter Robyn Mills (John); her great grandchildren, Jenna (Michael) and Jadyn Allen; and her friend Harold Queen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
