It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Washington (Montgomery, West Virginia), born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on May 28, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Willie C. Washington, Fred D. Washington, Jr., Ethel Williams, Charles A. Washington and Leonard Washington.

She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Washington Smith, Leonard Washington of Montgomery and Lawrence Michael Washington (Tricia) of Dunbar; and her brother Lawrence E. Washington (Colleen) of Kimberly. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
