It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Hevener of Monterville, West Virginia, born in Elkins, West Virginia, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Don Gibson; his brothers, Henry Gibson and Eugene Hevener; his grandmother Ada Hevener; and his aunt Pearl Hevener.
He is survived by: his mother Eula Jean Hevener Gibson; his sister Norma Mathes (Dan) of New Market, VA; his nieces, Missy Crist and Heather Gibson; his nephew Daniel Mathes; and his great-nieces, Michaela Crist and Abigail Crist.
