He was predeceased by: his parents, Hettie Vance Hagerman and John R. Hagerman; his siblings, Rosa Belle Hagerman, Pinkie Gibson, Lula Waddell, Daisy Payne, Otis, Bill, Joe, Virgil, James, Thurman and Herman Hagerman; and his sister-in-law Vivian Morgan.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Belva Hagerman; his children, Gloria Mullins (Eugene), Bonnie Hagerman, Eddie Dean Hagerman and Roger Hagerman Jr. (Hazel); his grandchildren, Kevin Hagerman, Miranda and Cassandra Mullins; his stepgrandson Jacob Bradley; his stepdaughter Angie (Brady Ball); his stepgrandchildren, Madison and Zoey Ball; his close friend Brittany Arndt; his siblings, Julie Akers of Summerton, SC, Bertha Rowe of Avondale, Ruby Hale of Atwell Mountain, Linda Hess (Sammy) of Jolo and Bobbby Hagerman (Thelma) of Bartley; and his close friends, Laura Rivera and Betty Wyatt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
