He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Bug" Thompson, Jr. and Lillian Beckner Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Jones Thompson; his son Craig Thompson of Montcalm; his stepchildren, Wayne Bailey Jr. (Stephanie) of Rock and Farrah Bailey Sizemore of Montcalm; his siblings, Chris Thompson of Alabama and Carol Amos (Robert) of Salisbury; and his stepgreat-grandchild Shelby. He is also survived by three step grandchildren.
