He was predeceased by: his parent Orval Vernon; his son Jeffrey Vernon Satterfield; and his siblings, Donald Neil Satterfield, Mary Virginia Lipinski and Eleanor Louise Kennedy.
He is survived by: his parent Bessie Mae Davidson Satterfield; his wife Betty Ann Satterfield; his son Jerry Satterfield; his grandchildren, Lindsey Satterfield, Brittany Satterfield, Trey Satterfield, Gannon Satterfield, Peyton Satterfield and Justin Satterfield; and his siblings, Steven "Bucky" Satterfield (Rose) of Charleston and Violet Irene Thompson of Worthington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
