He is survived by: his children, Patsy Justus (Jamie) of Owingsville, KY, Robert Burgess Kirk of Bull Creek, Stacy Hurley (Morris) of Isaban and Adam Kirk (Melina) of Bull Creek; and his grandchildren, Bobbie Jo Layne, Helen Marie Hatcher, Aaron Cline, Kristie Adkins, Tyler Kirk, Garret Kirk, Shasta Kirk, Brooklyne Hurley, Isabella Hurley, Brandon Kirk, Paige Kirk, Haley Kirk, Faith Johnson, Destiny Hardin, Jerimiah Johnson, Aaron Justus, Miranda Miller and Andrea May. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Isaban Church of God (4 PO Rd, Isaban, WV 24846). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
