He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy E Gandee and Ada Gandee (Archer); his former wife Mary Omega Maudine Gandee; his granddaughter Angela Marie Gandee; and his sister Janet Louise Gandee.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Gandee (Armstrong); his children, Bradford Paul Gandee (Kay) of Davisville, Brent Gandee of Mineral Wells, Craig Allen Gandee (Kim) of Hagerstown, MD and Sandra Michelle Smith (Raymond) of Mineral Wells; his stepchildren, John (Margie), Beth and Michael Smith (Patty); and his brother Larry Wayne Gandee (Flora). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; six step grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren.
