He is survived by: his wife Barbara C. McCrady; his sons, Jay McCrady (Heather) of Mineral Wells and Jeff Dorton (Jeanne) of Emerald Isle, NC; his brothers, Barry and David McCrady (Judy) of Parkersburg; his grandchildren, Jacob Dorton (Stephanie), Josiah Dorton (Myra) and Daisy Jean Armstrong (Simon); his great grandchildren, Josie, Mason, Ruby, Scarlett, Jonas, Izaak, Charlie, Parker, Rosalee and Able; and his close friends, Jack Sadler, Charles Caton and Gerry Miller Gary Wood (O'Buddy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
