It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Walter Rogers of Mineral Wells, West Virginia, born in Rockport, West Virginia, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roma Rogers and Dola Whipkey Rogers; and his siblings, Dorothy Davis, Jimmie Rogers, Betty Dowler, Maxine Richards and Bernard Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Dottie Hardesty Rogers; his children, Vickie Gandee Steele (Mike) of Mineral Wells and Roger Rogers (Shelia) of Rockport; his sisters, Freda Beha of Channahon, IL. and Janet Sampson of Rockport, WV; his grandchildren, Amanda Weideman (Ryan), Ashely Roberts (Mike), Alisha Mcbride (Shawn), Kayla Gandee, Katlyn Gandee, Ryleigh Archer and Easton Archer; and his stepgrandchildren, Dana Brehany (Joe), Andrew Steele, Daniel Steele (Fae), Joseph Steele, Holley, Dayton, Cole, Kaylee, Destiny, Railynn, Rose, Harlee and Dominick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
