It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy E. Riggs of Mineral Wells, West Virginia, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Myers and Gladys Hewitt Myers; and her siblings, Charles, Ira Myers, Helen Leonard, Olive Myers and Lena Ashlock.
She is survived by: her husband A. Clairmont Riggs; her children, Lutricia Shaffer (David) of Cutler, OH, Melissa Cottrell (Todd) of Mineral Wells, WV and Bryan M. Riggs of Mineral Wells; her grandchildren, Cody Cottrell, Amber Cottrell (Jack), Courtney Shaffer (Brandon), Ashley Shaffer and David Jr. Shaffer; and her great grandchildren, Lilly Cover and Anna Mae.
