He was predeceased by: his parent Virgil "Jake"; and his brothers, Richard and Donald. He is survived by: his parent Hattie Lunsford Rowsey; his wife Sue Falkner Rowsey; his children, Debbie Rowsey of Hurricane and Danny Rowsey of Charleston, SC; his daughter-in-law Judy Rowsey of Charleston, SC; and his granddaughter Denysa Fulton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
