He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jeannie Napier Ashworth; his parents, Kenneth Ashworth and Loreda Ashworth Davis; his grandparents, Herbert, Virgie Deal, Burl and Mabel Ashworth; his stepfather Arie Davis; his brother Kendal Ashworth; his children, Sara Childers, Trina Maston (Perry), Josh Blair, Joey Blair (April), Amanda Hodges and J. J. Dennison; his grandchildren, Tari Wolfe and Lexi McClure; his siblings, Sherman Ashworth (Karen), Sharon Yates (Terry) and Carolyn Elkins; and his sister-in-law Linda Ashworth. He was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren.
