He is survived by: his children, Carl Thompson, II of Milton, WV and Tonya Lynn Thompson of Milton, WV; the mother of his children Julie Neal; his grandchildren, Shaylyn Thompson-Neal and Katelyn Walker; and his half-sister Kathy Devilbiss.
