He was predeceased by: his parent Joe Hyden; his wife Peggy Dyer Hyden; his daughter Marian Kit Hyden; and his siblings, Joe Taylor Hyden, John Rice Hyden, Tom Kit Hyden, Lucille Davis, Gertrude Branham and Mary Clark.
He is survived by: his parent Nora Hyden; his daughter Peggy Lee of Milton, WV; his son-in-law Jack Wysong of Milton, WV; his grandchildren, Jason Allen Wysong (Jennifer) of Barnhart, MO and Lindsay Ann Wysong of Sacramento, CA; his great grandchildren, Cameron Smith and Leean Smith; his significant other Dorothy "Dot" Whanger of Charleston; and his daughter Kaye Vanmeter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
