He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramie Lawrence Hunter and Zelma Baisden Hunter; his siblings, Henry (Mary), Herschel "Doc" Hunter and Roberta Harbison (Harley); his siblings-in-law, Leonard (Virginia), Lewis (Vivian), Emmitt (Ethel), Gene Carrier, Opal Foster and Carolyn Hunter; and his great grandchild Dakota Benjamin Greathouse.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Carrier Hunter; his children, Cheryl Hunter (W. Va) of Millwood, Bill Hunter (Nancy) of Broad Branch and Chris Hunter (Sara) of Clothier; his grandchildren, Natalie Greathouse, Amy Durst (James), Lori Hunter, Bill Hunter, Alan Hunter, Krystal Burgess and Shauna Watts (Anthony); his brothers, Herman Hunter (Kathy) of Mason, Homer Hunter of Stony Bottom and Hansel Hunter of Custer, S. D.; his siblings-in-law, Leo Carrier (Jeanette) of Orlando, FL, Eva Mae Gunnoe (Ron) of Phoenix, Ariz, Elsie Hunter of Vienna and Wilma Chapman Carrier of Indianapolis; and his sister Virginia Sue Maison. He is also survived by his 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and many, many friends.
