He was predeceased by: his siblings, Howard, Kenneth, Mary, Clyde, Walter, Warren, Leonard and Carl.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Scott; his daughters, Kimberly Pike and Teri Colegrove; and his pet Emmy. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
