Tasha Rae Wamsley Obituary
Tasha Rae (Bird) Wamsley, age 41, a resident of Mill Creek, departed this life Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the Davis Medical Center in Elkins, she had been in declining health, however her death was sudden and unexpected.
She was born on November 9, 1982, in Montgomery, a daughter of the late Roger Bird and Donna McLaughlin who survives in Clarksburg.
On March 15, 2008, in Mill Creek, she married Rocky Lane Wamsley who survives at home.
Tasha leaves behind her paternal grandmother, Ella Mae Bird, children, Rocky Lane Wamsley Jr., Mariyah Faith, Violet Jewel, and Brooklyn Grace Armstrong, Haley Kathryn, Jerrica and Destiny Yeager, stepdaughter, Crystal Isenhart, several grandchildren, one sister, Stacy Michelle Bird, aunts, Roberta Bird, Brenda and Larry Skaggs, Patricia Baker and husband Daniel, uncle, Don McLaughlin and wife Betsy, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her father was paternal grandfather, Namen Bird, maternal grandparents, John and Sybil McLaughlin, two sisters, Jennifer Hansen and Tonya Bird, and one nephew, Brian Scott McLaughlin.
Tasha attended the schools of Randolph County. She enjoyed playing Call of Duty and spending time with her children. She dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving home for her family.
Although we mourn her loss, let us remember Tasha in the light of her kindness, the warmth of her smile, and the love she shared with those around her. As we come together to celebrate her life and reminisce on the memories we hold dear, let us honor her legacy with love and gratitude.
Funeral services will be updated this evening. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contributions be paid for her funeral expenses that can be paid on the funeral home's website.
