He is survived by: his parent Blanche Koontz McCarty; his spouse Jorena Ruble McCarty; his daughter Carolyn McCarty Davis; his siblings, Roy Koontz (Erma), Barb Koontz and Alice Casto (Butch); and his stepchildren, Cindy (Donald Dolly), Sandy, Troy (Jannie Sites), Susie, McGuire and Patty (Jeff Malcome). He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and dozens of friends.
