He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Denver Smith and Dorothy Phyllis Currence Smith; his wife Joyce Marie Warren Smith; his sons, Charles Michael Smith and David Ray Smith; his grandson Christopher Smith; and his brothers, Randy Smith and Glen Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Ratliff (Jeff) of Mill Creek, Jeffrey Smith of Mill Creek, John Smith of Mill Creek and Brian Smith of Mill Creek; his grandchildren, Kayla, Jeffrey, Gage, Dylan, Rebecca, Zane, Elliott, Sadie, Todd, Adam, Kaelah and Haley; his great grandchildren, Mason, Aiden, Brayden, Kai, Samira, Sammy, Mia, Landon, Patrick and Charles; his siblings, Glenna Haddix of Ohio, Denny Smith and Connie Light (Earl) of Mill Creek; and his close friends, Gina Wright and Brooke Daniels.
