It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Ann Gumm of Mill Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Phares and Eva Scott Phares; her husband Junior Maxwell Gumm; her son Mark Gumm; her brother Robert Phares; her sister-in-law Judith Phares; and her great grandchild Cora Diane Foley.
She is survived by: her son Kenneth Gumm (Denise) of Valley Bend; her sister Jane Howell (Dennis) of Elkins; her grandchildren, Rebecca Tunney (Joseph), Vanessa Foley (Greg) and Kevin Gumm (Skylar Trammel); her great grandchildren, A. J. Friedman, Ava, Silas Tunney and Kendall Foley; and her nephews, Michael Phares of St. Albans and Scott Howell of Bridgeport.
Masks and social distancing will be required for anyone attending the services for Mrs. Gumm.
