With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beatrice Madeline Markley of Mill Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on June 30, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hillery Currence and Ethel Jordan Currence; her husband Edward Paul Markley; and her siblings, Hillery Jr., William, Andy Currence, Jean Corley, Lucille Hamrick and Nellie Shiflett.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Serrett (Darrell) of Mill Creek, Edward Markley of Mill Creek, Gatha Teter (Jerry) of Fairview, Rickey Markley (Christina) of Huttonsville and Michael Markley (Brenda) of Clarksville, VA; her grandchildren, Bethany Arbogast, Angela Elza, James Markley, Allisha Salisbury and Corey Markley; her great grandchildren, Colin Arbogast, Owen Arbogast, Issac Salisbury, Alexis Elza, Cooper Markley and Matthew Pratt; her brother Wilson Currence (Betty) of Elkins; and her sisters-in-law, Billie June Stargill of Dayton, OH, Audrey Carter and Courtney Barb.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Beatrice's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
