He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Bryan Armstrong and Dochie Ray McCauley Armstrong; his wife Sharon Lynn Shreve; his son Tommy Collett; his sister Dianah Lee Taylor; his brother-in-law Preston Taylor; his brother Alfred Armstrong; and his sister-in-law Juanita Armstrong.
He is survived by: his son Gregory Allen Armstrong of Elkins; his grandchildren, Todd Collett (Hannah) of North Carolina and Thomas Allen Collett (Kayla) of North Carolina; his great grandchildren, Michael Niver, Isiaha Collett, Leeland Collett, Jaelyn Collett and Luke Collett; and his nieces, Tammy Hamrick (Clinton) of Dailey, Ginger Boyd (Richard) of Dailey and Estelita Gillard of Canton, OH.
