He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Marion Nicodemus Sr. and Anna Bertha Kerns Nicodemus; and his siblings, Albert Nicodemus Jr. and Helen Mills Pauley. He is survived by: his wife Susie Barrow Nicodemus; and his children, Billy (Alicia Ring), Becky (Duane Dunn), Debbie (Nick Lowe) and Stephen (Penny Ring).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Middleway Methodist Church Men's Sunday School.
