He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Dawson; his granddaughter Sofia Romano; and his brother Gary Dawson. He is survived by: his mother Katherine Dawson (Dunlap) of Middleway; his children, Galen Dawson (Tina) of Martinsburg, Donna Shipley (Kenny) of Shepherdstown and Nicole Romano (Bart) of Myrtle Beach; his grandchildren, Ricky, Tyler Dawson, Adrianna Fleetwood (Duane), Courtney Anderson (Tre), Blaise Shipley, Ginny and Grayson Romano; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Kamdyn, Malaki and Kaysen; and his sister Pat Dawson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
