She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Gulley and Dorothy Cooper Chute; her siblings, Oscar Gulley and Betty Billiter; her niece Delorise Morrison; her sons-in-law, Shane Carpenter and Roy Hadley; and her close friend Jerry Lee Yost.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dorothy Carpenter of New Martinsville, WV and Betty Smith (Rick) of Middlebourne, WV; her sisters, Agnes Lewis (John Bassett) and Juanita Hartley; her grandchildren, Rebecca Wade (Jeremiah), David Wells, Carrie Wells and Taryn Henthorn; and her great grandchildren, Cayden, Brayden Hadley, Alex, River Wade, Kyle and Dashia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
