He was predeceased by: his parent James Edward Walton. He is survived by: his parent Kathryn Huff; his wife Roberta Swan Walton; his children, Charles E. Walton II (Stacey), Point Pleasant, Ryan L. Walton (Melinda), Kay Lynn Wells (Michael), Friendly Payne and Karol Payne (Wayne); his grandchildren, Michael Wells, Mikkel Alderson (Adam), Drew Payne, Erica Payne, Sydney Templeton (Kenny), Chase Walton, JoLee Walton and Ty Walton; his great grandchildren, Rayli Templeton, Kynlee Templeton, Kennedi Wells and Lynn Lee Alderson; his siblings-in-law, Donnie Smith, Sam Swan and Bernice Thomas; and his close friends, Jerry Staley (Rat) and Chuck Weddle.
