Sallie Tackett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sallie Tackett of Miami, West Virginia, who passed away on August 21, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maywood Belcher and Edna Belcher; and her sister Marvel Lee Cottrell. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Tackett (Lauri-Ann) of St. Albans and Allen, Jr. Tackett (Jessica) of Milton; her brothers-in-law, Jim Tackett (Betty) of Shrewsberry and Paul Cottrell of Teays Valley; her niece Kelly Cottrell of Teays Valley; her nephews, Patrick Cottrell of Teays Valley, Brian Cottrell of Enoree and Jamie Tackett (Barry Cunningham) of Shrewsberry, JT; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordan, Chance, Addyson and Brooklyn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations to the Chelyan United Methodist Church Backpack Program to be mailed to 112 Church Street, Cabin Creek, WV 25035 or the Dana and Ethel Ervin Scholarship Foundation mailed to P.O. Box 123, Miami, WV 25134.
