With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Mafield of Metz, West Virginia, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on August 4, 2022 at the age of 57. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Mafield to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Warren Eugene "Gene" Mafield; his brothers, Raymond Donald Mafield and Charles Glen Mafield; and his sister-in-law Debra J. Mafield of Monongah. He is survived by: his mother Juanita V. Hayes Mafield of Mannington; his children, Harmony Mafield, Shane Thomas of Morgantown and Wesley Mafield of Mannington; his grandchildren, Dimitri Mafield, Aviana Thomas and Phoebe Thomas; his pet Precious; and his siblings, Doug Mafield of Dents Run, Patricia Sheppard of Metz and Keith (Jane Mafield). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins, and many close friends.
Per the request of the family, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
