With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter James Tate of Meadowbrook, West Virginia, born in Fairmont, West Virginia, who passed away on June 14, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tate and Grace Owens Tate; his wife Yvonne White Tate; his daughter Grace Ruby Tate; and his brothers, Dave and Norman Tate.
He is survived by: his children, Walter James Tate Jr. of Meadowbrook, William Tate (Tisha) of Clarksburg, Edna Aley (Mike) of Bridgeport, Tara Aley (Chase) of West Milford and Steven Brian Tate; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Aley (Jake), Shawn Aley (Hannah), Travis Khuens (Abby), Austin Aley (Embee), Walter Tate (Cheyenne), Cody Tate, Chloe Aley (Nick), Sara Tate and Courtney Tate; and his siblings, Arney Tate (Alisha) of Gypsy and Susie Tate of Gypsy. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
