He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Kinsey and Cora Marie Ice Gump; his son Mike Gump; and his siblings, Richard Gump, Kinsey Gump, Jr. and Edna Louise Owens.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Gump, Duane Gump and Paula Kay Long (Steve); his stepgrandsons, DJ and Thomas Singleton; his sisters, Ruby Miller and Violet Evans; and his former wife Vivian Ruth Gump Lewis. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
