She was predeceased by: her father Layton Leach; her husbands, Thurmon Rice, Lester Lacy and Robert Campbell; her children, Dennis Rice and Veda Apperson; and her grandson Kenneth Apperson.

She is survived by: her siblings, Ritchie Leach (Wanda), Jimmie Leach of Charleston, Annette Douglas of Cleveland, OH and Connie Jarvis of Shrewsbury; and her grandchildren, Keri Parks of Arizona, Kristen Apperson of Alabama and Nicholas Apperson of Louisiana. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
