It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Lynn Smith of Meadow Bridge, West Virginia, born in Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney Harrison Redden and Zella Marie Kaylor Redden; and her siblings, Carol Adkins, Louis Redden and Dennis Redden.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Lynn Brooks and Verl Cooper, Jr.; her sister Barbara Adkins (Jimmy Hunt); her grandchildren, Shawn Carden, Richard Brooks, IV and Carter Brooks; her great grandchild Peyton Carden; and her nephew Stevie Adkins, Jr.. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
