With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jimmie Martin (Meadow Bridge, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 13, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Dayton and Violet Frances Martin (Flatt); and his siblings, Mona Higginbotham (Lonnie), Madge Pace (Phil), Caroline Vaughan and Freddie Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita G. Martin (Bennett); his children, Cindy E. Cochran, James O'Neil Martin, Tammy L. Thacker (Adam), Kimberly K. Cox (James Kevin), Michael B. Martin and Melissa I. Martin; his grandchildren, Juanita I. Reed Tessney J. (Christopher), Martin and Karissa N. Ennis (Joshua); his great grandchildren, Kilee Dunbar, Brandon Simmons, Austin Dunbar, Summer Reed, Autumn Reed and Astrid Suttle; and his brothers-in-law, Garland Bennett, Calvin Bennett (Debbie) and Jeff Bennett (Ruby). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Harrah Cemetery (2249 Backus Mountain, Meadow Bridge, WV 25976).
