She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Burns and Roxie Kincaid Burns of Springdale; her husband Eugene H. Harris; her daughter Patricia M. Harris; and her siblings, Icie Pearl, Gracie Edith, Mary Catherine, David Alger Burns (Gaye) and James Walter Burns (Virginia).
She is survived by: her sons, Robert H. Harris (Evon) of Rockville, VA and William "Toby" Harris (Claudia) of Crawley; her grandchildren, Angela Armentrout (Bryan) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Joel Harris (Mindy) of Oak Hill, Chad Harris (Heather) of Mechanicsville, VA, Cara Crookshanks (Stephen) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Rob Harris (Karen) of Mechanicsville, VA; her great grandchildren, Sarah Armentrout, Matthew Armentrout, Tanner, Carsyn, Troy, Camryn Harris, Harrison, Hayden, Ava, Drew Crookshanks, Liam, Jude and Isa Harris; her stepgreat-grandson Thomas McAndrew; her nephew William "Bill" Burns (Donna); and her close friends, Jessie Cales, Ann Hanshew and Mary Sue Lane.
Private family service due to Covid-19 will be at Wallace Memorial Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in memory of Elta Harris/ Hospice of Southern West Virginia.
