With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delbert Enoch Hanshew (Meadow Bridge, West Virginia), who passed away on October 13, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Hanshew and Rheba Gill Hanshew; his brothers, Leonard and Harold Hanshew; and his foster daughter Tammy Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Gill Hanshew; his son Robert (Gerry) of Millville; his siblings, Melvin Hanshew of Springdale, Ada Sifers of Springdale and Violet Cummings of Springdale; and his grandchildren, Heather Lea (Jacob) of Friendswood, Derek Harrah (Rachel) of San Leon, Justin Patterson (Kristen) of Covington, Jordan Patterson of Frankford, Kerri Williams (Shawn) and Kaylee Avila of Berea, Kentucky. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
