He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Fleshman and Elsie Patterson Fleshman; his children, Gary Fleshman and Betty Lou Fleshman; his siblings, Sadie Adkins, William, Lawrence, Dewey Fleshman and Lewis Armstrong; and his son-in-law Fred Surbaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth A. Fleshman; his children, Drema Cyrus (Ronald), Helen Surbaugh (Jay) and Charles Fleshman; his grandchildren, Tamara (Lonnie), Laken, Curtis, Christina (Brian), Jacob, Matthew, Amanda and Brandy; his great grandchildren, Bryce (Raqueal), K. C., Breanna (Dylan), Alyssa, Jaden, Paige, Alaina, Easton, Zack, Hannah, Madison, Alexis, Sidney, Miley and Levi; his great great grandchildren, Greyson, Peyton, Lincoln and Dominic; and also Pam.
