He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ashby and Adaline Ashby (Burge); and his stepson Bill Vetanze. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Ashby (Mcannich); his stepchildren, Mary Paros (Ken), Candace Rinkus, Jim Vetanze, Mike Vetanze, Dave Vetanze (Tina), Danny Vetanze (Stephanie) and Matt Vetanze; and his sister Mary Lu Wilson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
