He is survived by: his wife Diana Mitchell (Connor); his sons, Craig Mitchell of Norfolk, VA, Brett Mitchell of Dublin, OH and Navy Commander Chad Mitchell (Gretchen) of Hagerstown, MD.; and his grandsons, Jacob, Benjamin, Samuel, Maxwell and Harrison Mitchell.
