He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Myers and Esther Myers; his stepson Dale Carmichael; and his sister Barb Myers. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Faye Cherry (Bill), Lloyd Carmichael and Debbie Carmichael; his sister Jean; and his nieces, Tracy and Kelly. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
