He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur George Barger and Lucy Irene Barger (Goldizen); and his brothers, Harlan Barger and Donald Barger. He is survived by: his wife Janice Barger (Snyder); his children, Richard Allen Barger (Susan) of Scherr, WV, Leon Wayne Barger (Lisa) of Maysville, WV and Phyllis Belle-Oudry (Matthew) of Swansboro, NC; and his siblings, Wendell Barger (Ilene) of Dorcas, WV, Roger Lee Barger (Rettie) of Maysville, WV, Florina Vance (Harold) of Maysville, WV and Rosalee Mongold of Maysville, WV. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three step grandchildren; five great grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren.
