He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Benjamin Berg and Myrtle Ann Berg (Alt); and his brother Benjamin Franklin "Benny" Berg. He is survived by: his wife Judy Ann Berg (Alt); his children, David E. Berg (Carla) of Petersburg, WV, Jamie S. Berg of Maysville, WV, Elizabeth A. "Beth" Evans (Larry) of Cabins, WV and Laurie A. Berg of Elizabethtown, KY; his grandchildren, Kristopher Brown, Megan Lindley, Matthew Evans, Julie Crites, Britany Berg, Cody Berg and Sarah Beth Berg; and his sister Mary Ann Ratcliff (Sam) of Maysville, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial donations may be made to the Gideon International.
