She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Shreve and Luella Shreve (Thorn); her husband Gerald Clifton Sherman; her siblings, Glen, Norma Vance and Thelma; and her siblings-in-law, Georgia Shreve and Charles Vance.

She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Carr; her grandchildren, Eric Carr (Lorrinda) and Rachel Moyers (Donald "Butch"); and her great grandchildren, Isaac, Hunter, Tanner Carr, Ethan and Hannah Moyers.

Memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital or to charity of choice.
