He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Goldie Arbutus Kesner and Whetzel; his brothers, Delmer Leroy Kesner, Charles Thurman Kesner, Lyle Richard Kesner and Roger Pancake; his wife Wanda Kesner (Zirk); his son Gerald Wayne "G. W." Kesner, Jr. of Milam, WV; his grandchildren, Cole Kesner, Reece Kesner and Jaya Kesner; and his siblings, Evelyn Franz of Maysville, WV, Elwood Kesner (Faye) of Rig, WV and Curtis Kesner (Linda) of Rig, WV. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggest that memorial donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation or take a child fishing.
