We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2020 we had to say goodbye to David Lee Thompson of Maysville, West Virginia, born in Riverton, West Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Opie Thompson and Evalina Thompson (Lawrence); and his siblings, Hansel "Saul" Thompson, Katherine Reel and Virginia Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Mae Thompson (Kile); his children, Deanna Berg (Thanh) of Maysville, Michelle Metheney (William) of Scherr, WV, David Thompson (Eva) of Bridgewater, VA, Daniel Thompson Weyers Cave (Cindy) and PhilipThompson of Maysville, WV; and his brothers, Sheldon Thompson (Mary) of Moorefield, WV and Clyde "Bob" Thompson (Norma) of Harman, WV. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions the family will have a private service on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 with interment following at the North Fork Mennonite Cemetery in Petersburg.
