She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Walter and Carrie Marjorie Persinger Viers; and her sisters, Mary Ruth Dudley and Virginia Fuller. She is survived by: her husband Layton Wykle; and her siblings, Lacy Viers (Phyllis) of Newport News, VA, Carol Nipper of Salem, VA and Jean Brant of West Virginia.
