He is survived by: his wife Annie Montrosse Bennett; his children, Floyd Mack Bennett, Jr. (Tina) of Casper, Rita Cornelius (Dennis) of Valdese, Calvin Bennett, Sr. (Betty) of Matoaka, Freda Dingess of Princeton, C. J. Bennett, Jr. (Angie) of High Point and Tabatha Sheets of Georgia; his stepsons, Ricky Wall (Angie) of Mullens and Michael Walls (Cassie) of Herndon; his adoptive daughter Sandra Powell; and his sisters, Joan Lusk of Morgantown, Louise Williams of Princeton, Rosie Milam of Jamestown and Janie Thomas of Matoaka. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; several great grandchildren and step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
