He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Augustus Jones and Frances Akers Jones; his daughter Virginia Dawn Jones; and his brother Ralph Jones, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Adkins Jones; his children, Jerry Lopez of Forestburgh, NY, Brandy Burchette (Tom) of Kegley, David Jones, Jr. of Hiawatha, Amanda Jones of Matoaka and Crystal Asbury (Thomas) of Camp Creek; and his siblings, Darlene Hayes (Richard) of New Canton, VA and Daryl Jones of Covel. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
