Scott Edgerton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Scott Edgerton of Mathias, West Virginia, born in Saratoga Springs, New York, who passed away on April 14, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Scott is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Scott's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his brother David E. Edgerton; and his parents, George W. Edgerton and Jean. He is survived by: his wife Pandora Edgerton; and his son Nathan Edgerton.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. View Church of the Brethren (2647 Lower Cove Run Rd, Mathias, WV 26812).
He was a lifelong recycler and hated to see things go to waste, which made his final job his dream job: helping Wal-Mart donate surplus or unsellable items to charity.
